Being on your own during a pandemic can be difficult to navigate. As of late, I have been struggling. I want to share some thing that have kept me going over the past few weeks. I hope these tips help you as well.

  1. Go For a Walk- I know this may sound simple, but it is an activity that keeps me active and helps to clear my mind. Even taking a five minute walk around my neighborhood will do the trick. I have found that staying inside can make me feel down and unmotivated. Being able to go outside and enjoy nature really helps when I'm feeling this way.

2. Journaling- Journaling is a great way to get some weight off of your shoulders. Being alone can cause us to be "in our head" a lot and being able to translate emotions onto paper is a great way to release those thoughts.

3. Self-Care Nights- Self-care nights always help me relax. This can be as simple as taking a shower and watching a show you enjoy, or you can have a fancy spa night all for yourself. Taking time to care for yourself is important. Especially during these times.
